09 March, 2010 Meeting Minutes
President and Vice President were both absent; meeting was called to order by the Treasurer Mike Dunn at 6:36 PM. 12 members present. Meeting was held at Lansky’s.
Minutes from January were reviewed. Motion to approve, seconded, and carried.
No minutes from February as there was no meeting.
Treasurer’s report (Mike Dunn):
+ Current balance is $1,041.22.
+ Dues will be discussed and due at the next meeting
+ We still have a supply of T-shirts and prices are dropping to $15 per shirt
Old Business:
+ Elections Held
Rordy was elected vice president and Phillip Cornwell was elected president. Both by unanimous vote
+ Base Organization
This is still a work in progress and will need continued thought and discussion
New Business:
+Mission/Group Focus/Vision
Discussed looking at the mission of the ORA and what the group focus and vision would like to be. How does this play into being a base organization. The group was asked to reflect on “what do we want to do” and bring ideas back to the officers.
+Introductions
Went around and introduced ourselves to group members present. New president introduced himself and his vision of the ORA. Our new president is excited to look at regular rides, face book page, and helping/mentoring others.
+ Meetings
Possible meeting places were discussed. People encouraged to look into/give thought to different places or consider a moving meeting. More discussion at our next meeting, for now, at Lansky’s on April 13.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM
The 50/50 went to our new President!!!!.
Next meeting will be 13 April, 6:30 PM, Lansky’s on 370, come to eat at 6 if you would like.
