8 June, 2010 Meeting Minutes

 

 

Meeting was called to order by President Phillip Cornwell at 6:33 PM. 3 officers and 6 members present with one guest. Meeting was held at Lansky’s.

 

Minutes from May were reviewed, discussed, and approved.

 

Treasurer’s report (Mike Dunn):

+ Current balance is $1,256.22.

            + Dues are due

            + We still have a supply of T-shirts and prices are dropping to $15 per shirt

 

Old Business:

    + Communication

         Most received the e-mail reminder. If you didn’t please send your e-mail to Carl and he will get you on the list.

  + Review of Safety Day

            10 bikes in the show n shine, 1st place Paul Rose, 2nd place Tim White

            Thanks to all who helped man the table

+ Indian Caves Ride

            Ride was nice, brief period of rain but the day cleared up nice. Had three bikes and one chase vehicle.

 

New Business:

   +Upcoming run’s

            - Be Cycle-Logical poker run sponsored by the Safety council, 26 June

           - July 10 group ride to De Soto Wild Life Refuge, Schedule and route to be posted later

           -Yellow Ribbon Run July 11th

            -Bikers Saving Babies poker run to benefit March of Dimes July 31. Start at Route 66.

 

+Ride suggestions:

-       Freedom Rock.

 

Meeting was adjourned at 7:10 PM

 

The 50/50 went to Lyle Batchford $15

 

Next meeting will be 13 July, 6:30 PM, Lansky’s on 370, come to eat at 6 if you would like.
