28 Aug 04 Regular membership meeting notes:

 The meeting started with introductions of the officers, there were 21 people in attendance, of that the officers present were Director, Assistant Director, Secretary and Safety Mr. Reed. 

1. Treasurer Report – Have approximately $450 in the account at SAC FCU.
2. Secretary Report – Email is better now with Stratcom on the Global. AFWA, DFAS, etc are still not. The Charter was reviewed by Legal office and some of the leadership, findings/recommendations follow.
3. Meeting minutes read – 25 July meeting minutes were accepted as read.
4. Old Business –
   1. Non-Elected Positions:

                                                               i.            Open - Mentors –SrA Emington (sport bike), Mr. Reed, Lee Goss and TSgt Robert and Janelle Smith stepped up. Lt Col’s Westland and Wilhelm, Mr. Carl Brown and SSgt Carr are still on board. But we still need more especially Sport Bike riders.

                                                             ii.            Closed - Sergeant-at-Arms – Ken Ashley, Sgt Smith volunteered to help.

                                                            iii.            Closed - Historian – April Heydorn.

                                                           iv.            Open - Photographer – Mr. Brown and Mr. Shawn Qualley. Still could use one or two more.

                                                             v.            Open - Ride Captains – Mr. Brown, Pastor Rordy and Mr. Reed. Added Barry Wilkinson, Mike Burton, and MSgt Dennis Edwards. We still need a lot more.

2. Committees:

                                                               i.            Closed - Ride Committee – Chair - Capt. Mike Richards, Barry Wilkinson, Mike Burton, and MSgt Dennis Edwards. Along with Mr. Qualley, Mr. Reed, Lt. Col Westland and TSgt Klepsa. Could use two more.

                                                             ii.            Open - Membership – Chair - TSgt Scott Spicer. TSgt Miner needs a replacement due to impending PCS.

                                                            iii.            Open - Fund Raising – Pastor Rordy and Mrs. Westland. Could use a couple more.

                                                           iv.            Closed - Patch, Coin and t-shirts – Mr. Qualley and Mr. Reed.

                                                             v.            Closed - Web Site – Carl Brown is the web master.

3. Other:

                                                               i.            Open - Still under consideration but not discussed. Motorcycle maintenance training – A possible “service” that could be provided by members for members, perhaps under the mentor program.
