09 Nov 04 Regular membership meeting notes:

The meeting was called to order at 6:40 PM.  Officers in attendance were Director and Treasurer. 

1. Meeting minutes read – 11 Oct meeting minutes approved.

2. Old business:

a.       The Charter was returned from Legal with some suggestions.  Copies were made available for review.

b.      T-shirts and patches are now available.  The same company can make a coin or pin.

c.       Availability of a maintenance Website is on hold until Springtime.

3. Committees:

a.       Fundraising:  Dealers are amicable to giving discounts to ORA cardholders and military members.  They would like a letter for their files.  Pastor Rordy will provide a list of dealers involved to post on the Website.

b.      Membership Chair:  No Report

c.       Treasurer:  No Report

4. New business:

a.       The Charter was reviewed and revisions made.  Each revision was voted on and approved by members in attendance.  The Charter is now ready to be re-submitted to Legal.  Members who were not in attendance may review the revised Charter on the ORA Website.

5. Elections:

a.       Shawan Qualley was elected President

b.      Steve Reed was elected Vice President

c.       Mike Haro was elected Treasurer

d.      Becki Brown stepped down as Secretary, due to schedule conflict.  Mike       was appointed Secretary.

 Open Discussions:

 A mass mailing e-mail address is in the works.  Make sure you have entered your contact information in the database.  Anyone who wants an item placed on the Agenda for an upcoming meeting can contact Shawn Qualley or Steve Reed through the ORAWebsite.
